The general election is coming this year. The rumours say it might be May 2024 – but it could be called even sooner.
We need to be ready! After three long years of Brexit, this is our chance to finally kick out the Brexit government.
Stay European has joined the new Tactical Voting Coalition because a change of government is a crucial step on the road to rejoining the EU. Getting the Tories out won't end Brexit on its own – but it is a precondition for ending Brexit. The sooner we get rid of them, the sooner it can happen.
Tactical voting in 2024 will be even bigger than in 2019. In the latest polling, more than one in three people say they will consider voting tactically. As part of this new alliance, we plan to runthe biggest tactical voting campaign in British history.
The departure of Boris Johnson was the first step back towards the EU – sweeping away the decaying remnants of his Brexit government is the next one.
The fall of the Tories would finally release other parties from their mortal fear of mentioning Brexit, and create a much better environment for the Rejoin movement to grow. That is why we believe every rejoiner should be voting tactically this time.
